Education Newsletter December 2019

In this issue for December 2019,

“The measure of intelligence is the ability to change” – Albert Einstein

Hello all, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, I am Kalley the new Marketing Coordinator for the AOS team. I am excited to learn about the company and get started in my new role. I will be taking over the newsletter and scheduling the courses moving forward.

As the New Year approaches, an important security threat to keep in mind is, that after January 14,2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs with Windows 7. Now is an excellent time to consider on updating to Windows 10 and keeping your employees secure, and more effective, with the training we provide. To get a better understanding of what the differences are between Windows 7 and Windows 10, do not look any further as we offer the classes right here to help service those needs.

In the transition to Windows 10 from Windows 7, you will:

  • Navigate the Windows 10 environment
  • Work with apps and desktop applications
  • Use Cortana and Edge
  • Manage Windows 10
  • Secure your computer
  • Use backup and recovery tools

As new threats continue to emerge, the computer world becomes less secure each and every day. The need for proactive, and up-to-date network management skills, becomes significantly greater. Here at AOS, we offer many courses to help you better understand how to protect your IT environment against these advanced attacks.

As always, the employee investment in Microsoft Office productivity application classes such as Excel, Word or Outlook continue to net businesses the greatest return. Most 2016 and 2019 versions have three levels to improve skill; Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. These courses are one day each.

Keep in mind, we offer courses for Microsoft Server Management and Cisco courses for Networking. We have a variety of classes designed to teach security.  CompTIA, Microsoft, and EC-Council provide the curricula.

Check out our website for potential upcoming classes, or contact us today if you prefer other options.
